Last Adventure in California Part 2

I know I already had a post that was supposed to have been our final adventures from living in California, but I missed some things. This is the sequel that no one asked for, but the studio demanded so they could really milk the franchise dry. Okay, that analogy wasn't great, but it is relevant to the next few photos!
In April we went to Disneyland. I posted about it and shared a lot of pictures, follow this {link} for a re-cap on that. Well...I kinda have more pictures. And I just couldn't sit on them and not post them; this blog is basically my family's digital scrapbook! So, I share them many months later for the simple joy of having them.

I never have a good face in these ride photos.
Laszlo was pretty excited to meet Captain America!

Laszlo was jealous that it was Paul's turn to wear the ears.

Paul was the only kid willing to ride Operation Breakout, he says it's "a little scary and a little fun."

Do you understand now why I just couldn't keep this picture to myself?

In addition to all of these great photos, I completely forgot to share anything at all about our anniversary in May! We went camping with Lee's sister and her clan. We had some great dutch oven meals, a bit of rain, hiked, saw wild turkeys, and we visited a little town called Solvang. At the turn of the century a group of Danish settlers arrived near from Santa Barbara and proceeded to build a little Denmark right there! We tried some Ableskavers and enjoyed the ambience. The bad news of that trip: I am crazy allergic to whatever was blooming while we were there! I highly recommend a stop in Solvang for anyone who is traveling in the area. It's a lot of fun to just walk around and window shop, and just outside of town there is a killer playground.

This little shop, "The Jule Haus," sells everything Christmas, it was highlight for the kids.
