Autumn Adventures + Halloween

Since brevity is the soul of wit, I shall be brief. Here's what we did this fall. We went to a corn maze. It's easy to stay away from people in a corn maze.

We tried our hand at some spooky crafts. Turns out it is more work for me than it is entertainment for the kids...

Surprise! We got snowed on...in October...

We went to the zoo for some spooky fun, kids all dressed up in costumes.

And we even did some trick-or-treating on Halloween. We had quite a few neighbors who found creative ways to hand out candy while distancing. We sent our candy down a chute that my ingenious mother-in-law built. I might just keep using the thing next year, it was pretty fun!

We had ourselves some nice warm weather at the start of November, which made it possible to do a small backyard birthday party for the boys with a few cousins. We had it all: Pizza, pinata, water web shooter, cookies, pin the star on Cap's shield, and a visit from our friendly neighborhood Spiderman!

I am grateful we had such a warm autumn that let us spend so much time outside so we could still do a few fun things. There may not have been any trips or reunions like we planned, but I think we managed a memorable and fun fall.
