A Summer in Pictures

This summer was the summer of cousins. Paul and Laszlo got to see all the cousins who we've missed for the last year. Arthur got to meet cousins and aunties and uncles for the first time.

We visited Bear Lake to hike and play at the beach. Arthur got a taste of his first raspberry shake and the older kids got to ride a jet ski for the first time. I do especially love when I can bring my kids to a place that was special to me as a kid and see them forming their own happy memories.

We also visited the aquarium, the pool, the zoo, the Lego store, Cherry Hill, and generally exhausted ourselves trying to fit in as much fun as possible. While I didn't take a ton of photos throughout the activities (something about keeping track of my kids and trying to have actual fun instead) I did snap a couple...

Seems like I mostly took pictures of Arthur all summer...but can you blame me? He's very cute and charming. Arthur is doing a lot of firsts these days. In just these photos alone you can see the results of his first taste of a pickle and his first oreo. He has also started eating a whole host of other foods, and so far he pretty much likes it all! He's rolling, drooling, and doing his very best army crawl.

We're happy to have school starting again, but also pretty nervous about how the school year will go. I am grateful my kids are resilient and have been very adaptive to the changes and challenges that they've faced. I'm so proud of them and hopeful that we can make memories and enjoy the beautiful Autumn to come.

And and that is all for now. I am looking forward to new adventures, only wrangling one kid at a time for a few hours every day, and much, much cooler weather.
