The Winter Kidventures

We've tried to fit lots of fun into 2022 and I think we're succeeding so far. I'm going to gloss over just how many colds have circulated their way through our family, interrupted sleep, bumps, bruises, and completely ignore world events.

This is an update on the good times!

We ring in the new year with much gusto and an early bed time! Our first fun thing of the year was going to see Hamilton with Lee and my Mom. We had fancy box seats because that's all that was left by the time I bought the tickets!

Arthur's ability to terrorize our house has continued to...expand.

We did a few fun things this winter, like visiting Kangaroo Zoo. It's just giant bouncy castles and inflatable slides, which is to say it's just kid heaven.

We also hit up the Retrocade, which is a lot of fun for adults and kids. Y'all, arcade games are pretty hard.

Arthur thinks he's big, he climbs on everything, and Dad is his favorite person. He's a ray of sunshine, until he's suddenly not. Then you'd better hide your glasses and your nose, because he might break both.

The boys helped make and decorate boxes for their Valentine's treats, Laszlo wanted a house and Paul wanted a windmill.

We did an escape room Valentine's date, and I gotta say we did some pretty excellent team work.

Arthur loves playing outside above all things. He will go out no matter the weather, and he is pretty sure he can handle that ladder by himself, thank you very much.

We made good use of the last big snow storm of the winter by turning our slide into a mini luge.

I turned 33. Yay.

We had a little Lego race car party to celebrate Uncle Jordan's birthday, because all grown ups secretly want to do a child's birthday activity.

Arthur is taking to soccer. He has watched his big brothers play, now it's his turn!

And we visited a fun trampoline park with a ninja warrior type course. Lee completed the course a couple times, I was stumped by the second set of obstacles, we all have our skill set.

And that sums up the first quarter fun. Here's to warmer weather and more fun together!
